I like dogs, because they are man's good friends. They can do many helpfulthings to us, such as guarding our houses, greeting guests, helping the police,and so on. Some trained dogs can even lead the blind people and save people'slives. So they‘re treated as our family members. I hope someday dogs will be ingreat harmony with human-beings.

After a short but happy winter holiday, we come back to school today. It'sthe beginning of the new term. I am happy to see all of my classmates come back.Because of the Spring Festival, everyone seems happy and some of them become alittle bit fatter. During the break, we talk happily to each other. We share thehappy and interesting things during the winter holiday. Most of us stayed athome to celebrate the New Year. And some of us went to travel with theirfamilies. In short, all of us had a happy winter holiday.

Today, I got up at 8:00 at usual. And I have a busy day. In the morning, Istudied for two hours. And then my father told me to visit my uncle with him. Wetook something to him and had lunch at his home. We went home at 14:00. When wegot home, my mother was cleaning our home, so my father and I helped her. Icleaned my room. It was a little dirty. After that, we went to the supermarket.I bought some snacks. I was tired today.

Last night, I had a wonderful dream. In the dream, I rode my bike in acountry road. On the both sides of the road, there are many trees. And thesetrees all have different fruits, apples, pears, oranges, bananas and many otherfruits. The fruits are ripe. I can get them on the bike. They are delicious. Ieat many fruits and I am full. And then, I go back home. I tell the story to mymother, but she doesn’t believe me. Then, I woke up.

I love my mother best, because she is my mother and she loves me, too. Mymother takes good care of me. Every morning, she gets up early and makesbreakfast for me. Every day, she cooks delicious meals for me and my father. Sheknows our favorite. Besides, she often talks to me, so that we look like closefriends. She knows everything about me. My mother’s hobby is reading. She hasmuch knowledge. And she encourages me to read more books. It’s good for me.

There is always a pile of smelly rubbish in front of the building we live.Everyone has to cover his nose with his hand while he passes by. One day, ourteacher told us in class some good deeds done by Uncle Lei Feng. I was moveddeeply by that. So after school, I started to clear the rubbish away. Now myneighbors don't have to cover their noses.
